Close call!

I saved this little cutie, :-D not once but twice from the jaws of Natsuki about an hour ago in my backyard.

The little booger hadn't moved from that spot when Natsuki came back around looking for it and I had to grab it and move it again.

If you look in the background of the pic under where I said " It started to come around when it saw Natsuki in the back ground",.. you'll see Natsuki.lol

Other than that his previous owner thought he was a female and named him after a Anime character. I just haven't changed his name yet.

Nope a chic,.. his previous owner told me her full name and the name of the show but I don't remember what it was.

Cloudy day today,.. it's suppose to rain. But we weren't outside ten minutes before he caught another one. They must be way more cartilage than bone at this age because Natsuki had it by the head. He wasn't too happy that I took it from him this time either.

Awww poor baby :( . Thank God you rescued him just in time. He is so cute. I like the pictures where he has his mouth wide open :) .

I'm pretty sure that isn't Uta stansburiana. Looks more like one of the Urosaurus sp. of the area, possibly Urosaurus graciosus. However, they aren't looking too healthy.
