Hi all,

I'm hopefully going to be the owner of a B&W Tegu soon and would like to know about caging from http://monster-cages.com/

I plan on buying the 96"X30"X18" cage and would like to know if that's enough room as most people suggest 8'x3'x3'. And if it's not enough room, could someone direct me to a site where I could order the proper cage.

Also, does monster-cages.com come with heating equiptment or would I have to install it myself?

Thanks

I don't believe they come with heat, however they can provide it at additional cost - It's always cheaper to build them yourself, however if you don't mind indulging in a nice custom cage, Contact Mark at http://www.boamaster.com/index.htm - He made me this 8x3x30 enclosure for $500 + shipping - It's a little cheaper and bigger than the one you are looking at - I provided my own heat/lighting.

Even Burned some Tegu's on it

That is a very nice cage. I suggest building your own though. It is so much cheaper and you feel really good about it when it's done.

I built this cage for about $80 all together and it took me like 4 days to finish. It's not big enough for a full grown tegu but I could build one for an adult tegu for only like $20 more.

I agree - I built this melamine one for around $130 total.

Thanks guys.. appreciate it. I'm not sure if I'll build or order, but I'll be temporarily housing him in a 55g until I decide.

Thanks

Those are great cages. It has given me great ideas for when I go to build my one in the future. :D
