Around $70.00-$130.00, for hatchlings.

I thought you were talking about regular Argentine black n white tegus.

But none of the Albinos are Black n whites, they are out of Blues. There has never been any out of any other species.

How old/big is it? It sounds like a fair deal. But it will be a albino blue tegu.

its just a baby...he got two of them at a reptile show and the guy who sold them to him said they were "snow" but they just look like regular albinos to me. so there is no such arg b&w? blue tegus are the only tegus that produce albinos so far?

Yes, Albinos and Snows are from only the Blue tegus.

It sounds like a fair price. I must ask if you know if it is feeding good? There has been some on the market that have been real poor feeders this year.

well when i first picked it up it seemed very weak, not unhealthy just weak...underfed maybe...but the next day i came in, my friend had made his cocktail of fruit, ground turkey, eggs and dog food, and it ate but it seemed to struggle while eating...i was just happy to see it make an effort to eat. out of the other tegus in the tank with it, it seemed to be the hungriest...never left the food bowl but like i said...it seemed to struggle or have it be an effort to eat. unlike my ever growing B&W who eats evrything in site! LITTLE PIGGY!

I would say I have a good guess who bred them. If this one is from him. Some of them have quit eating all together. One has died. I would be very afraid of this trade. :?

Here is one that would be a little safer deal. This one has some size to it. http://market.kingsnake.com/detail.php?cat=53&de=448294

I am going by the tail, it looks well rounded, it also seems to be of good weight. And I am not Steve. lol.

But if it feeding poor I would still tend to shy away from this deal.

well im just happy it ate, and i have a knack for curing animals and making them get twice as big and healthy as any pet store can. ill think of it more as a rescue...my next question would be crossing a b&w with an albino? has it? can it be done?

varnyard

Thought I'd let you know that a snow tegu is just an albino with lighter coloration. There is really no such thing as a snow tegu.

Thats true, and nothing more than a albino blue.
