cool looking lizards. they look like a skink, are they related?

no they are Anguids related to the glass lizards of the eastern US

those are some awesome lizards. I found one of those in my back yard once and i tried to pick it up and it bit me. 8O

yea they are known for being biters, two of my adults bite me and crap on me everytime i grab em, i dont mind the bite it's the crap that's irritataing, I'm currently working on getting my CA Native Reptile propagation permit for the southern alligator lizard so i can breed them and give them away, im also trying to get info on a commercialization permit for them but fish and game isnt being as cooperative with that (of course lol)

bah, forgot to log her name out anyways that's a gator lizard being a gator lizard (biting)
