I have a bearded dragon thats a year old and hasn't grown at all thoughts?

It's been in a 20 gallon long for 6 months by itself, and I feed him crickets and mealworms, dusted with calcium. And some greens occasionly.

I bred him, so I know it's not a different kind of lizard, but when I had him in a tank with a larger bearded dragon, he wouldn't eat, and has been by himself ever since and eating just fine. Just not growing.

the larger beardie was only like 2 or 3 inches larger

i have a uvb and a Zoo Med 100 watt day bulb it stays about 95 to 105 in the hot side of the tank

You should read up more on their diet. As adults they should have something like 85% greens. They will also take pinkies. It may be a rankins dragon, otherwise who knows.

could be a genetic thing, I met a guy at a rep show with a female beardie that was 2 years old and only measured 9" and wouldn't eat anything larger than 2-3 week old crix. All her sibling were full grown

u might have bought a rankins dragon they are similar to bearded dragons but stay 9-10 inches realy cute to.

How would one tell the difference between a juvinile Bearded Dragon and a Rankins Dragon...???

I would upgrade your uvb light to a higher concentration. Are use using uva?
