Raising Quail?

Anyone try this? Does quail give tegus the runs? Do they carry salmonella?

I have plenty of outdoor space so I was considering raising a small quantity but only if they are relatively easy...

I have raised coturnix quail and I think they worked pretty nicely. but I only fed chicks to my tegus, never full grown. They are easy to keep and incubate. and cheap too! I think I got 100 eggs for like 19 bucks shippe

I raise coturnix and feed it to them without problems. They have a higher body temp than chickens, so you dont have to worry about salmonella from what I've read.
