well keep in mind you're talking about a 4-5 ft long lizard, and you cage needs to be at least big enough for it to stretch out all the way.

ummmm....6X2 minimum...height doesn't really matter much, tegus aren't big on climbing. Each level should be around 18-24 inches tall, so a total cage height of about 2 ft.

hmmmm what about this 1st level is 6Lx2H3W and the second level will on top for basking and 6Lx3Hx3W would that be ok for 1argentine b&w tegu??? and what do i do with the floor just cut a hole enough for him to make it up or do i put a ramp???? doesnt this take floor space out???

Sounds good. I'd definetly put a ramp in, like I said tegus aren't big on climbing. It would be okay for the lower level to be smaller, in fact the tegu would probably prefer it that way. In the wild they build burrows, and a two level cage could simulate that.

hmmmm ill have bottom level 18 and 1/2 inches with about 4-6 inches of cypress mulch stimulateing a burrow and have the top floor about 2-2.5 foot that sounds realy good to me saveing space to.

That would be me...in a very far gone stage of not done my hair and all so my hair is tide up etc (we just finished up on that enclosure when I made the pic)
And the enclosure is (have to convert cm to ft..or inch...which ever works for me...:P)
98,5 inch (wide)x 35,5 inch (deep) x 63.04 inch (high)
The top enclosure:
98,5 (wide)x 19,5 (deep) x (i think) 23,5.
We devided that one into 2 cause it was much to big for our little Hector.
But as our lazy bum Karel (the red one) isnt moving or doing that much we decided he doesnt need THAT big a cage so were planning on changing it all and deviding the lower part into two different enclosures for Karel and later on for Hector. We will make the platforms in it different so there will be more ground to walk/lay on then theres now.
So it will be 49 inch wide but almost x 2 ...only need to decide about how it'll work with the lighting and the glas doors...
