Arnie And Chester Back Home

Arnie and Chester finished their chytrid treatment and are back in their tank. I spent a few bucks because I threw away their old water dish, their resin tree and the thermometers and bought all new stuff.

The reason why I treated them was because Arnie was continually shedding. He also shed during the treatment. Also, he seemed to shed right at the end/after the treatment.

I am wondering if it is/was chytrid. First, he has an incredible appetite, deficates regularly and is alert. Second, Chester, his tank mate, is and always has been in perfect health. He has been in there with Arnie for about 4 months. Also, Chester came form the same tank in the pet store that Arnie was in. Which means, they were in there for a very long time together.

Anyway, for now, I plan to just do what I am doing and hope the shedding stops. I will, most likely not be treating again. Both frogs are eating well, alert and active. Everything healthy frogs do.

october, I sincerely hope Arnie and Chester are well. They are positively awesome looking 8)
