Thank God I live in Texas :) . I love this weather here. For except right now. Even if we don't get any snow here where I live it still gets to cold for me sometimes lol. I like the look of snow but not the cold. This is one thing I don't miss about Germany ( where I'm from ).

I wish I could live somewhere where there is no snow. If you guys want to see snow almost 6 month a year come live in Quebec and you will be happy as ever. (we will make a house trade lol)

Angelrose

Alright! House trade ...lol

I lovvvve the snow and cold. I can always make myself warmer but when our hot summer and big time humidity comes, I have to be near the ocean and / or man-made air ...:P

Haha the news here always makes it look worse. South Jersey shore got about 10 inches.

Woke up to 3" this AM, schools are still in. We didn't even add in snow days this year, which is weird, we usually use at least one.
So we've already used 8 days this year for snow. I had knee surgery, so it's killing me.
We are supposed to be getting 6-8" total. Doesn't sound like much, but we don't have the road crews like many Northern states, so it shuts us down.

Last year we had a huge ice storm that shut down our town and EVERYONE was w/o power for 3days.
We were without for 15. I bought a generator then..lol BRING THE SNOW

There's a tiny bit of frost on the neighbor's roof this morning, does that count? :) It's supposed to be 70 today and tomorrow, then dip down to 39 one night this week. Brrrr! ;)

I was trying to find our snow pics. We drove to Boone, NC to see snow this year. First time for my girls and I! They are 13 and 15 and it was the first time we had seen falling snow. We had a blast snow tubing when we weren't absolutely freezing to death! We had like two pairs of pants on and snow clothes, bwa ha ha. We looked like the Michelin Man.

**Pikey- you guys are the ones we look at here in FL: "weird northerners :)" It'll be 50 degrees, we're all freezing with jackets on and some yahoo is walking around in shorts. Or better yet, taking his family swimming or to the beach! We're native Floridians so we have thin skin. We get a lot of European or NY tourists that'll go to the beach or pools in December/Jan. It's insane!!!

I dive for a living. I was 35 miles off the NJ coast last week, underwater for almost forty minutes. The bottom temp at 136' was 36F!
The beach or pools in Florida sound great this time of year!
