My new beardie!!!!
HERE IT IS! I know I am ugly and... large, but alot is from my Chronic Disease. I also know I picked him up wrong, but I am trying to let him know I won't hurt him, and I was also holding the Camera. The cage is TEMP, was just to get him away from teh last guy. Feedback encouraged!

i hope you did the proper research since getting him to find out substrates are no good for bearded dragons and neither are coil uvb bulbs. besides that, big ups to you for doing that rescue.

Actually, I already had researched. I have known Beardie care for about 5 years now. I disagree with the Substrate is bad crowd. I think SOME kinds are, yes. In the wild do you think they sit on Newspaper? No. I think that a 50/50 mix of Organic dirt and washed children's play sand works, and he is getting a new Enclosure tomorrow.
The Coil was temporary, it was just thrown together real quick to get him out. Also, I felt he needed a higher dose of UVB temporarily because he went 1 year without it.
Since I havn't posted more on him..
He is doing Great!!! He is so, so SO super sweet and tame. His name is Rango Pugsley.
