i believe the minimum for one tegu is 6x2x2, also there is no guarantee they wont fight that is something that would only be found at a later date so would you have the space to house them seperatly...

i persomaly would recommend monitoring him in the smaller viv,,, to me you have done everything id do,,,,,,,,,,,,, keep an eye out for infection,
apart from snakes and tegu as in other threads

well if we get a really cold winter im moving in with diego lol,, im sorted the viv doors face the tv lol
hes possibly finding the huge space difficult to cope with if he was cramped in a small viv before, id say give him time to settle in and get used to his new enviroment and take the handling slowly...

I have a very busy house, with friends and there kids always popping in and out so its brilliant that diego is so laid back and happy being around people
to be honest most of the time its hubby who feeds him and a mate of ours who loves feeding him, want to make sure he will take food from a few people incase we go on holiday and somebody else looks...
