So my baby red flux refuses to eat outside of his enclosure since the day I got him. Does anyone have any ways for me to ease him to eat in a feeding bin? I have tried putting all his favorite foods...

Hmmm never heard of that. I do know that when a tegu doesn't like something as a warning it will make a quick little tail movement. I'm sure someone on here will have a answer for you :P
Awesome! Glad you had a great experience :)
I heard that you have had some nasty tegu bites in your time txrep...Care to share? lol
Is he under UVB? How long ago did you get him and what are his temps/humidity?
Basically what Montegu said, but don't forget your UVB! That is super important!
I have seen people get one as their first reptile and do a great job. I think as long as you do plenty of research and put forth the time, money, space, and effort go for it!
haha sorry didn't understand lol
they are the same dog. the left is him as a baby, right is him as an adult. :) His eye colors changed as he grew
He is such a cutie!!!
haha well that "evil unnamed forum" was filled with "strong minded people"...I put my hands up and left after I was told not to give someone advice as I have not kept tegus long enough -_-
Thanks! Didn't know you went on here. You still banned from tegutalk?
That they are!! haha thanks!
Jessie!! It's Kian from FB :D
This is a picture of when we first got our big baby sam and now :P

There were very few people who I liked on TeguTalk to be honest. You were one of them. The others were Chris and Laura. I would rather be in a slower group than be in a fast pace cyber-bullying forum.
Most likely just damaged the end bit on something. Don't be worried unless he starts loosing more of it or the tail is looking infected. I have heard of a columbian tegu eating some of its on tail...
I'm pretty sure he has a few females left...Not sure if he is keeping them or not though :P
Fass Farms. He is a local breeder :)
Mines name Flux because of the dubstep band I like is Flux Pavilion. haha and he acts as moody as the genre of music itself :P
I believe Fass Farms in Austin, TX still has a few available tegus! He is who I purchased Flux from and am 100% satisfied.
Give him a call: 512-630-6125
I had a B&W/Red Hybrid that got into the wall. After days of camping out next to the hole he came out choking. I immediately took him to the vet but he passed away 2 minutes before we could reach...
Sorry if you were taken under the impression I was trashing TeguTalk. I love TeguTalk, just don't like everyones attitude. I completely agree anything can happen no matter what forum, but there were...
Those boas are drop dead gorgeous
Here is my baby Argentine Red Tegu responding to his name :) Sorry for the background noise, that was my crazy friend on skype :P
