Default A bit of a question here!

Ohai forum ppl! So I was wondering if any of u lovely ppl knows anything about antiques, or has a friend or somebody u might know that could help me figure out the value of an antique Singer brand sewing machine. The model is 185k, it's color is light green (I'll be posting some pictures down there), it even has it's case, has absolutely no scratches, no rust on the machine itself whatsoever and this baby is alive and kicking (meaning it works!) I also have a wooden custom made table for it.

I really wanna get some money out of this, hope somebody can help! Here r the pictures:

    Thanks a bunch guys!

Hi Sephora! I know a little bit about antique but not much on sewing machines. When was it manufactured? It looks to be like from the 50's-60's. Are there any blemishes on it? I would look up info on the manufacture, I'm sure you can find more information on it good luck!

It's from the 60's, cosmetically wise, it's perfect, no blemishes, scratches or rust. As for the manufacturer, it's Singer branded. I did find a lot of info. about it, but what I really need is to know it's value so that I can then sell it and know how much I can really ask for it. Kinda wanna get the max out of it! Thanks a bunch LovleyLin! ^_^

You're very welcome You can also look on EBay or somewhere similar to see if anything from that manufacturer or even the same sewing machine is being sold for. Yours might even sell more since it doesn't have any imperfections. Good luck!

:( I'm surprised that you can't get more for it. It's a beauty . To bad you don't have the Antique Road Show in your area lol. Good luck with it. Don't tell the buyer how much you want for it. Let them make a offer first. Who knows, maybe they will give you more then it's worth .
Rich is not how much you have, or where you are going, or what you are.Rich is who you have beside you.
