    Default doggie blood test.

so i had my lovable mutt, zoey, sent to the vet awhile back to get a blood test done in order to find out her mixed breed ancestry.
we got our results today! and she is described as 50% shar pie, 25% shib inu, and 12.5% of briard and french bulldog.
here are some photos, tell me if you see the dogs in her =)

she is very intelligent, mostly independent, and hates getting her feet wet (a trait found in shibas).

I know, every time I read something that begins with, "Well so I took _____ into the Vet to get blood tests done..." I always worry. Glad this was a happy story.

That is a really cute little dog!

Wow, I never would have guessed that combination was in there. All I can see is terrier. I would have guessed something like a wire haired terrier and Cairn terrier mix lol.

First of all, I think your dog is way adorable.

Second of all, I'm glad you noted her intelligence because that is the absolutely best thing to have in a dog, no matter what they look like.

And last of all, I hope you mainly got that genetic test done to determine if there was any chance of genetic disease and not to actually to determine the breed mix. From the little bits I know about gene mapping and dog breeds that seemed implausible, not to mention the appearance of your terrier--um--mixed individual. Here's a review by some blogger, fwiw:
