I love the big jowles on your red Tegu . I like it when red Tegus have some white ( or/and black ) on them.

Red's jowls just keep growing and growing. its funny to watch him to to fit under stuff and get his jowls stuck. he just had a great shed, so he looks great now. very deep reds all over him.

as for the savannah, he has a great temperment. with my girlfriend. he isnt a big fan of anyone else. all he does is pace back and forth in his cage trying to get her attention. then when she picks him up, he just goes right to sleep. hes never tried to bite anyone before though. just fidgety. and hes HUGE now. similar lenthg to my red, but he has about 2 solid pounds on the tegu. Syd weighs about 10 pounds now. hes in the middle of a shed, so he is getting daily baths. which is something he loves, because he then gets to be wrapped in a towel and sleep on my girlfriend for an hour. heres a few more pics.

this is his older cage, when he was a bit smaller. he has always loved the water.

now he spends the vast majority of his day doing this. its laziness you can only admire.

Awesome looking guys! I'm impressed. I've read the monitors have some temper. This one seems docile!

I always assumed Savannahs werent as docile, but he looks pretty tame (even if it is just territorial to his female)! I love their short noses, they look so prehistoric.
