Default Blatta/Blaptica Lateralis (Turkistan roachs) problemo

I started a colony of these guys thinking my cresties and Tegu would love them, and because I had a cricket escape misfortune and am still catching the little bastards on fly paper months later.
The cresties will have nothing to do with them, but Dio loves them soo much he goes a little nutty for them, only they are too small for him to pick up, even the adults. I thought they would get much larger!
    Soo...Questions
    - Should I freeze them and add them to ground turkey for my tegu and try to move onto a larger breed of roaches?

    - Are dubias larger than lateralis? (the adults in my colony are about 1.5 inches)

    - Is it worth it to get a colony of madagascar hissing roaches going? They might be fun just to observe if they breed too slow..? Are they nutritous?

    thanks!

Dubias get to be about 2" but much much plumper than Lateralis.
Hissers are much bigger, but harder shells, and spikey legs. they do breed very slow. & out of 5 tegus i only had 2 that would eat them.

discoids are nice because they are bigger, but they breed slow, are very fast, & they are hard to sex (to many males & they "head butt" more than they mate)

Latteralis are so freakin fast and i think thats why the geks dont like them. I am pretty sure that the Dubias are the fastest breeding larger roach (Pikey correct me if i'm wrong)

I tried hissers and they bred to slow for me and at the time i needed a fast breeding roach. Zilla (my tegu) loved them tho...i may eventuallt breed them again

Lol somebody needs to genetically modify hissers to breed faster! not, then they would just be a pest like the rest of them.
Maybe I will try dubias, they sound like they are winning the vote.

yeah Dubai's are hands down my favorite... I had hissers but slow breeding & picky tegus. it just wasn't worth it to keep them. (sold them all to a member on here). I have Discords to, but they breed only slightly better than hissers & are a Royal Pain in the But to sex. (both are almost identical)

Dubias are slow moving, breed quickly, dont smell, dont fly/flutter drop, no noise, bad climbers (unlike turkish, hissers, & discoids), & when you gut load them their stomaches hold the food for about 48hrs. (hands down best roach in my opinion)

Not trying to pimp myself out, but if you are interested in starting a colony? i'm selling off a bunch of my roaches at reasonable prices.
I can even set you up with a colony starter lot of roaches (adult sets & mixed lot for babies up to 1 1/2"-2" nymphs)

I may have to take you up on that Pikey. Let me see If I can round up all my roaches and freeze them tonight. Then I will go from there.
