    Question About Bedding/Substrate

Hi there, everyone.. As the Thread tells, i would ask what's best for Tegu.. Can i use a Coco Peat or a Vivaria Native Sand for Tegu's bedding? Because it is so hard to get a Cypress Mulch or some other products here, in my Country.. I only offered for a little option as i mentioned, before.. Thank you very much..

You can use eco earth. I used it for my tegu when he was young. You may want to eventually want to find a less expensive alternative....it would cost a lot to fill a large cage with eco earth.

Thank you so much for both of your info..
I've found an Eco Earth from ZooMed, here.. But how about mixing Eco Earth with Hay/Straw? Will it work? Sorry if it's sounds silly, just want to give the best for my Tegu..

It would work. You could use they eco earth for the humid. warm part of the tank and the straw for the rest...the tegu will probably mix the two over time...
