    Exclamation M8.8!!!

    Magnitude8.8 earthquake happened in Japan
and my town Tokyo was terrified including me
I was in a cafe with my girl friend when the earthquake happend
It was the biggest quake in my life
My girl friend is frightened by the earthquake

When it was temporary lull, we went back to our home and many fanitures have
been broken, cats were frightten in a bathroom
I went to my reptile room next, all cages were safe, but some water spilled over from the turtle tank
Still the quake continued and my house shooked badly during the earthquake.
It generated a tidal wave that crashed ashore.
Many people were thrown into a panic when an earthquake struck
and all goods including water/cup-nudles/foods have been sold out in super-market/convinience stores

Some gas-tanks blowed up in Tokyo and all mode of transportation have become gridlocked with traffic
number of people seriously injured from the earthquake
34victims perished in the earthquake so far...

Still I feel some small quake...

I just read a bit about this when I woke up. It is pretty scary and I am glad you and all your friends are safe.
I felt my first earth quake in Canada last year. Very strange feeling and it took me a few seconds to really know what was happening. I can't imagine a quake with such power! The officials are warning BC Canada to be prepared for a Tsunami as a result from the earthquake.
    Be safe.

What a terrible tragedy. I read there were problems at the nuclear plant north of Tokyo?

    Thank you very much
Fortunately, the nuclear plant is far away from central Tokyo enough
But still we cannot sleep tonight peacefully
