Awww they are so cute . I don't want to tell you what to do but I just want to give you a little warning. Please be careful having your Tegu on the keyboard like this. He might poop on it . Same with extention cords ( when he is older ). Here are some names to check out if you want to.

Rich is not how much you have, or where you are going, or what you are.Rich is who you have beside you.

Its hard to believe how big they get! I see them sold in the pet store for $30, I guess you can call it the "iguana" of the 2000's. People buy them cheap and when they start to get big and have taming issues they are all over the classified ads. That little guy is lucky to have you as you know what you are getting into. Captive breeding is great but when they start to over populate the reptile industry the price just keeps dropping. As much as I would have liked to have a CBB tegu here in Canada the good thing is that breeding isn't as easy as it is for beardies or geckos and therefore the price stays up there abit.

It always amazes me that people will buy an animal without reserching it. Yeah, a dog, a cat...whatever, they are pretty easy....but a Tegu or a Monitor? It makes me sad to think of all the lizards out there that don't get the proper attention and taming they need to be good "peoples"...
