    Well I took the exhausting 15 step hike to the side of the yard and found this.

    Nice! We have the blue tailed and 5 lined variety around here. It looks like my BTS's mini me if it there were stripes. I think skinks have such interesting heads. It's as if their faces show some sort of character.

    Nice shots - love those guys! Are the broadheaded skinks fairly common where you live? We have them here in Florida - but I've only found a few over the years.
