    Default Beautiful Radiation Sun busking

No great artificial lights are even equal to the natural sun beam

Especially when tegu have to take off his/her old skin that he/she's worn while winter season,
only the Sun light can peel the skin off easily

My red tegu Pompadour in an all meshed enclosure besides of a window
Yes, here in Tokyo Japan, Probably some radiation-contaminated air frying around currently
Most of windows in the town shut down
People think Tokyo city is exposed to some radiation

Actually the Government & the nuclear Plant company prevent the spread of the effects of radiation

Tokyo is located 300km far away from the destroid nuclear plants,
and newscasters say it's safty enough for our health (Drinking tub water/eating foods from Hukushima, the area where the nuclear plant possible to cause cancer for 0~6years old children
Some highly radiation contaminated diets are thyroid effect and we have to choose safty foods)

American Govenment laid down to American travelers and the citizen in Japan 30km in radius roped-off area from the nuclear plant

I asked my Vet about thyroid effect for Reptiles
and the Vet said "No found case of cancer for reptiles, yet, so I think you don't need worry about
cancer, but even we Vet don't know what and how radiation cause on reptiles in Tokyo"

For now, I want to give Spring sun beam to Pomapdour as possible as I can
    Beacuse Spring has come
Also I don't want to be too nervous temperament for radiation rumor
I don't know "300km from the nuclear plant" is enough or not

Just I watch sleeping Pompadour peacefully under the sun :|
Our fight and patience continue (maybe forever about radiation)
Still we got some earthquakes everyday...

I was thinking about you the other day when I heard about yet another earthquake. I don't think anyone will know for certain the effects of the radiation for some time. It sounds like you are trying to make your peace and stay safe. Stay well and enjoy your beautiful Pompadour!

    Thank you Vanessa
I am not sure I am best owner for Pompadour
She came to Japan and she had tragedy here, sometimes I think animals should live in their woods
    She was born in USA
So she is CB tegu and been sold from people to people and now with me
So it is somehow a fate
I do my best that fate not going to be fatal

I love Japan and the nature, but the problem is going to destroy them
I hate to admit it, but It's very frustrating

Pompa looks like she couldn't give a rat's a** about all this crisis and tragedy. She thinks, "I'm cool as long as I can get my rays." I'm glad she is helping you find some peace of mind, although I know things are different for you now.

Probably cancer won't be an issue with your reptiles, but keep an eye on Pompadour basking in the radiation, in case you come home one day to find she has turned into Godzilla!

    Could be! LOL
I will be surprised if she turn to be Godzilla(Red coloured Godzilla) when I come back! haha!

Well, radiation level is small in Tokyo, but reptiles usually are much smaller than human
So every owner should take care for their diet on reptiles at least
Radiation in foods stays in body much more from skins
