I came to the thread because I have a young blue that is having similar behavior. I have had him for about a month now. He eats fine and is shedding, but he is borrowed almost all of the time. I will take him out and feed him, but when he is done and I put him back in his pen, he will go back to burrowing after sunning for a few minutes. I am worried that I am doing something wrong, but I have been following almost all of the suggestions I have read.

I am a little comforted that I am not alone.
