Default Hello all from Normal IL

Hello everyone great to finally participate in a forum I am quite new to the whole thing. I guess it is about time to talk to some people that enjoy herps as much as I do considering there are not many fans around where I live. I have cared for reptiles since I was a little kid and find great joy in it. Well hopefully as I learn the site I will make some friends who share my passion, and get new information on how to care for my scaly friends.

My white throat Mongo is about 3 years old I got him while he was just a hatchling and he is supposedly CB though I don't have paper work to back it up. He is very tame just a big lazy lizard he never has tried to bite and now only hisses if you wake him up. My tegu Fry is a year old male and he is pretty tame as well even though i feel that since he has woken from hibernation he has backtracked and is a little shy but he has pretty much gotten used to me again. I got him when he was about a month old since I didn't have the cash to get him during hatching time. I actually got both of them from the same dealer/breeder a guy named The Newtist who I met at the local reptile expo. Mongo the WT is about 4 Ft and Fry is like 28 In.
