    Default My Ornate Uromastyx

I've had this little guy for 10 months now - I tried selling him, but he ended up getting sick before brumation. He got better, and has become a permanent part of our family.
He was just a hatchling when we got him last September, about 3" long and he is now double his length and weight. (And we discovered that it's a boy, due to his pores by his vent).
Here are some photos of him now.

he loves to sit in my hair.

Thanks! He's a little skittish, but Uro's are skittish until they are a lot bigger.

I can't say that I know anything about them... other than the fact that they're cute.

My Uro (now named Reptar) is starting to show his future colors! He's just a few weeks shy of being 1 year old, and he's fattened up greatly since then!
(If you click on the photos, and enlarge them on my photobucket, you will see the blue in his cheeks and arms!)
