    Default Back after years...!

Hello, everyone! My name is Melissa. I've been a member on www.thetegu.com for a long time - but I haven't posted in years so I thought I should get on here and introduce myself. I live in Florida and my fiance and I keep a variety of different herps - including 6 tegus. My first tegu (who is now almost 8 years old) is a Colombian named Sim. My second tegu, also a Colombian (who is now about 6) is named Jez. I went home with two reds last year (Lucy & Grok) and got two more reds last weekend.
I also finally got a caiman lizard from Ben Siegel back in March.

I am a big field herper, so I will take any chance I get to go into the field! I also teach philosophy.

I'm looking forward to talking with some new friends on here!

Here are some pics of my 4 oldest tegus & my caiman. I'll get some pics of the new reds up too.

    Smile tegu family

Hi Melissa! Thanks for sharing your pics. We are also in FL. We have a male columbian b/w- Rex, male argentine b/w- Dino, male- Godzilla and female red- red girl, and female blue- blue girl, tegus. Plus many more pets of all types. We don't have a caiman lizard, but they are really beautiful! Ben has great animals.
Welcome back. This is my first day here.
