when i heard he died i cried for days. he was my mentor, I wanted to be just like him and I watched his show almost religiously XD I was amazed at his love and his dedication to the animals of the world. You are missed Steve, and will forever be in our thoughts and hearts.
You know you are a reptile owner when you can use tissue and duct tape to bandage a bite while you are working with your scaly critters

I always wanted to meet Steve so bad! I will never forget him, ever.

I know some of you on this forum really hate Animal Planet, but Steve comes on like everyday at 8:00 in the morning, which is the only reason I watch Animal Planet.

Hi Topoddity. Welcome to our Tegu forum family. Yes, he was a great man. I loved watching him, too. He always got so excited about everything lol. The good thing is that his wife and daughter shared the same pasion . He will always be missed.
