Default Best way to feed crickets?

I have been feeding my crickets a variety of fruits and vegetables that Gomek also eats. This has worked well for months. But I was just flipping through my new issue of Reptiles and saw a gut-load by JurassiPet. The gut-load is called JurassiDiet and there is also a cricket quencher called JurassiQuench.

I am a little curious about trying it. Is it a good idea to give my crickets the commercial gut-load with some fruits and vegetables mixed in? Or are the gut-loads just a rip off? I would also like to give them the quencher, but the last time I used a cricket quencher a lot of them died for some reason.

    Any advice?

I would suggest feeding "Total Bites" by Nature Zone. That is what I use at home and in my pet store, where I am feeding 4-5,000 crickets a week. This stuff is great, and it is food and drink all in one so you save money too!
