Thread: hatching season

    Hey all
    I plan on putting a deposit on one of the argentine b&w hatchlings from varnyard herps and they haven't responded back yet so wanted to ask you guys when the normal hatching seasons is? like around what month, if there is a usual time they do, they might might be ready.
    dont a loooooot of research but was never interested in breeding so never looked at it much ><

    Hi vanagandur. Welcome to our Tegu forum family. Did you pm Bobby or did you call him ? Since his Tegus are hibernating right now I would think that he would have some time to talk to you. Tegus start to breed in the Spring. I think he will have some hatchlings in the summer or fall.

    Well.....summer it is. Sometimes I see hatchlings as early as May. I got a beautiful B/W from Bobby one year, but had to wait until early September. I'd wait to speak to him before putting down a deposit and make sure he's breeding this year and everything's a go, etc.

    I know it's very hard to wait. If you want to you can check out the links below. Maybe someones Tegus is coming out of hibernation and is looking for a new home. When Tegus hibernate they don't grow. So you might have a chance to get a baby one. Good luck.
