    Default Tegu doesn't like egg?

My tegu has been demolishing big piles of ground turkey mixed with beef liver about 2-3 times his head size almost everyday. Today, I made him a scrambled egg and he barely touched it. Anyone else encountered a tegu not liking egg?

No, I have to say you have the only one! Just kidding. Scrambled egg may be a new thing to him, but most tegus relish raw eggs.

I have one that is not a big egg eater, of the 4 I have he is the only one that won't eat eggs. so its not that uncommon.

Mix it in the ground turkey so it gets use to it. I always mix eggs and shells with my turkey mash.
Note: I am speaking from my own experience, so if it dose not work for you I am sorry but it did work for me.

Tegus kept me happy in a dark time in my life. So if you say I am crazy for loving these animals, who cares what you think.

I scramble the eggs first and crush or powder the shells. I keep all the egg shell from cooking or whatever, dry them and put them in a coffee grinder and not quite power them. I also add 1/4 of a vitamin D tablet to one cup of powdered shell.

My baby doesn't like raw but seems to like scrambled with banana and grape + crunched up shell.... I thought she would go mad for it but I was surprised too.
