Note: I am speaking from my own experience, so if it dose not work for you I am sorry but it did work for me.
Tegus kept me happy in a dark time in my life. So if you say I am crazy for loving these animals, who cares what you think.

Cute now but don't make it a habit, the last thing you want is him trying to scramble to the top of your head with those nails as he gets bigger. It can be a hard habit to break.

Yeah, I had read a couple post with that, thankfully that's the only time the head crawling has happened, typically he just crawls on my back. I'm thinking about trying a leash on him so I can take him outside now that its warmer!

That is so true. When you are balding on top, it is VERY painful. Trust me I know.

Achilles us so cute and so tiny. Please be careful that he doesn't jump off of you and get hurt. Our five ( used to be six ) Tegus still crawl up my head. I don't mind because I'm wearing a hoody lol.

I wear a hoodie as well with junior. He is at that age and size, 33+ inches that his nails are like needles and without long sleeves and a hood I end up bleeding from scratches in 114 places.
