... Peach is shedding for the first time since I bought her ^_^ no one seems to be excited about this apart from me ("You know you're a herper when...") so I thought I'd share x

We have our Tegus for years now. We got our first one in Oktober of 07. I still get excited when they are shedding. I know it sounds strange. But when they have a very good shed I keep the skin. I love it when the shed comes of their eyes and it looks like a mask or of the feet and it looks like a glove .

I'm keeping the bigger pieces, the pattern is beautiful. My partner was excited too but everyone else is like "Eww" or "Yeah? Great."

Also, I gave her a bath yesterday (she hates baths). For the first time she had a swim like a little snake... it's still making me smile now!

Not strange - I keep my rollie-pollie skins when they molt.
