    Default Take Two...red x b/w hybrid babies

Not everyone is a fan of hybrids, I understand. But I was quite happy to have a successful breeding of this clutch:

    Laura R (FL)
    1.0.0 Colombian Tegu
    1.4.0 Argentine B&W Tegu
    1.2.0 Red Tegu
    1.2.0 B/WxRed Tegu
1.0.0 Green Ameiva (yet another teiid)
    7 other lizards
    1 little gator
    3 FL box turtle
    1 Sulcata tortoise
    16 snakes
    5 fuzzy pets
    4 little frogs
    a bunch of creepy bugs
and a partridge in a pear tree

So cute! When did they hatch? And are you going to sell them? I am trying to hold off until July 15 to get a tegu from our reptile expo, but all these babies are making it hard to wait =) I have the extreme/blue baby as my desktop =)

These hatched last Friday (June 15th). Six have hatched, I have two more little noses peeking out right now, and I guess 10 or so more eggs to go. I will definitely be selling some as I can't keep all these tegus.

Congrats you two on your babies .

Laura. Thanks alot for even telling us that you were breeding your Tegus and that you have some eggs. If you did then I guess I missed something ( Oooops ). Looks like things went better with the breeding and hatching then the last time. What did you do different ?

kushfind. Wow, those are alot of eggs . Awesome. I can't wait to see some photos.

Txregirl. :( I was so upset with the outcome last time that I didn't want to get my hopes up this time. So I just didn't say anything until they hatched out OK. I haven't even counted eggs. I have no idea how many I have left to hatch. I haven't set a price or done anything that may have the remotely possibility of jinxing myself, hahaha. And I spin around three times and hop on one foot before opening the incubator. haha just kidding.

I think that last time I had temperature spikes. The temperature was even this time and I had less molding issues.

I understand. I'm so happy for you that things are going better this time. I'm glad you bred your Tegus again. I wonder how the adults look like now from your last clutch. I can't wait to see some more pictures. Good luck finding them a good home .
