Just out of curiosity, are there any eco-friendly bulbs that anyone uses with their setups? I'm just curious as I think Eurorep makes some, was wondering if they are any good or just gimmicky. I'm a massive hippy you see.

Not that I know of. I would not get the spiral bulb. I have been using the Zoo Med Power Sun ( heat, UVA/UVB all in one ) for years now for all of our reptiles. I have been very happy with those bulb.
Rich is not how much you have, or where you are going, or what you are.Rich is who you have beside you.

Hmmm, I suppose the radiators would be a more efficient idea I guess. Also wondering as in Europe they are phasing out normal bulbs for low-energy bulbs how this will effect reptile keeping.
I don't know. They are attempting to phase out incandescents here across the pond...sort of. A 100watt may actually be a "lower energy" 90 watt, etc. The reptile companies will still market basking bulbs I'm sure.
