The incubator was home made, as the whole thing happened so quick, it's a bit rough around the edges, but it seems to be holding temps o.k. hope fully gonna buy a decent one with the sale of the babies if I'm succesfull. Temps are between 26 c & 31c, depending wheather nearer the edge or in the middle, I know it should be around 28c, so hopeing it's around enough, what would your opinions be on this. I'm using a heat mat on a stat.

To be hoest with you I never build/had a incubator before. I just bouth a broken wine fridge at a Garage Sale for $15. The fan still works. I was thinking about installing a light switch ( with a blue light inside ) so I can look inside without opening the door for the light to come on. A flax Watt with a thermostat and a humidifier or just put a small tub of water on the buttom. I like the space and the glass dor on it. I was thinking about putting a tint on the outside of the door to keep it more dark inside for the eggs but still light enough for me to see in there. Here are some videos that I thought it was very helpful.
