Exclamation Raw Diet and Salmonella Information

Hi everyone. I just found this video on youtube and thought I post it on here. I have read some concerns of some mebers here about Salmonella in raw food. I know this Vet ( in the video below ) talks about Cats and Dogs, but at one point also about the Reptile.

Yeap. But it's in there. I mostly wanted to post the video because of the Salmonella part. Not becaue of feeding your dog or cat raw food.

I thought it was fascinating. While not being reptile specific, it very much applies to them as well. Reptiles predate mammals by millions of years and have developed digestive systems and processes far beyond that of most mammals. I wish I could afford to feed my dogs and cats a raw diet.

I'm glad you liked it . I thought it was very cool, too. I can't feed my dog the raw diet every day. But I'm going to do it at least on the weekends. I know it's not a good thing to change the diet around like that. But I think it's better than not giving it to him at all. You are so right about what you sad about the reptiles.
