Newb Looking For Info
Hey there!
I'm Emily, I live in Central Texas. I have ball pythons, Kenyan sand boas, veiled chameleons, sugar gliders and of course, a dog and a cat!
I'm very interesting in owning a tegu. I've got a baby blue being held for me until the weather cools down. I've done some general research, but as a chameleon owner I see the value in checking out a community and asking for more detailed info and support!
Any advice you would like to give a first time owner?

I'm getting my Tegu from Ty's Lizards. I looked him up, checked out pics of his facilities, he seems like he knows what he's doing. Have you had good/bad experiences with him?

You are very welcome. I never ordered one from them. So I can't tell you much about them. A lot of people get their Tegus from Bobby Hill ( Varnyard.com ). We have two of his Tegus and we are very happy with them. Hope we get to see some photos of your Tegu
