It's normal for some Tegus to be very picky. If you want to you can put some sweet fruit like some peach, strawberry, cherry, blueberry into a blender and make baby food out of it. You can get a syringe ( without the needle ) at any pharmacy. Put the baby food ( smooshed fruit ) into the syringe. Take a Pinky and squeeze the fruit into the Pinkie's mouth. I would put the syringe deep down into the Pinkie's throat. I would recommend doing this with a frozen/thawed Pinky . Then give the Pinky to your Tegu. I would rinse the mouth of from the Pinky in case your Tegu doesn't like the taste of the fruit. Or you can try to mix just a little bit of the baby food in with the ground turkey and some hard boiled egg.

I'm sorry to hear this :( ( poor baby ). Yes, that can happen. I have seen some Tegus land wrong and get a kinck in the tail. I would keep a close eye on the arm. Does it look swollen ? If it's broken you might have to take him to the Vet. Have you been giving him some calcium powder with his food ? Please keep us posted.

I'm happy to hear that it's not broken. Maybe he just strained it. Trust me, Tegus are very hardy lizards.

Just if you can, could you please post a photo of where the bump is ? I would take him to the Vet. Just in case. It's hard to tell what it could be.
