It's OK . Thank you for being understanding. This is one way of filing his nails down . Was this his first time outside ? He is doing great. The first few times that I took our Tegus outside they were very skittish and sometimes they charged at me ( but didn't bit me ).

I tried taking him out once last week but only got about 10 feet from the door before he started freaking out, so I just hung out with him for about 20 minutes at the front door and let him get used to all the new sounds and stuff. This time was much much better. I've been wanting to take him out again every day since the first time, but it's been overcast/raining every day until yesterday. Its those darn helicopters that freak him out so much. There is usually like 3 choppers up in the air at any given time of day because of all the heliports around here, and they must look like loud giant tegu-eating birds to him. When he gets over his fear of those he should be able to handle anything =)

    Awesome!

My red is already SUPER tame. Had him a month this upcoming Fri. Mac is my red's brother, so you can imagine how large/tame mine is already haha!. I really need to post pics. Feel bad, just been busy with school, and I was grounded for a week, and my camera didn't work. Ill post them tomorrow when I am free. Mac is, as always, awesome!

It think it was less of a shock for him than most because he is used to running around in such a big area with a loud tv and/or music going. I also spent about an hour last week with him on the leash in the house just to get him used to the leash. no sense in letting him freak out about the leash and helicopters at the same time =)

Ripkabird98, looking forward to seeing some footage of the fam =)

We just gave Mac some hard boiled egg for the first time. I had tried scrambled eggs w/fruit mixed in once a while ago and he had no interest... but he loves em boiled.

Mine rreaks for attention when I enter the room. I open his lid and jumps on me like he wants to eat me. Hangs out on my shoulder until I get him off. Cant have him falling. He does the cutest thing. He sticks his HEAD in the neck of my shirt with his body outside of it and sleeps.Lol. If I showed you the WHOLE fam you would be here forver.
