We just got our baby argentine b+w yesterday. We are so excited. We know its a boy and named him Jase. He is extremely friendly and seams to have a big love of food already. I have a question tho. I have seen on here people are feeding dark greens is it ok to give him Kale? We also have Bearded dragons can they eat the same greens?? I know I was told not as much veggies for the B+W they like more fruits. I would love any help. Thank You

    Congrats on your baby!

Kale is not a good green to feed as a staple. It is ok once/wk or so. It is high in oxalates - so it binds the calcium that is in the greens, rendering them ineffective. go to http://www.beautifuldragons.com/Nutrition.html
She has a great nutritional chart so you can choose the best items.

I do add some of my beardies mustard and turnip greens to the ground turkey for Ssra.

You know, pictures are always a must =)

Hi Dragonkeeper. Welcome to our Tegu forum family and congrats on getting Jase. I would be careful about using something from the list in the link above. I do not agree with feeding anything out of a can. There is a lot of sodium and other preservatives in it. When ever I use some veggies for our Bearded Dragon or our Tegus I steam the veggies. Just enough for them to get a little bit soft. We have a list in the helpful section some where. I'm going to try to find it for you. If you are ever interested in bulk ordering rodents I recommend the company in the link below. I also will give you a link to a video I made of the shipment I got from them. This way you can see how they package things.
