    Yes, it's OK. I would feed him every day until he is full. It is very important to feed him a big variety of foods. It can happen that if he had a big meal the day before that he doesn't want to eat much or nothing at all the next day. Sometimes they also don't want to eat much when they are shedding. It his stomach looks full give him a bath. Most of the time they poop in the water and will be hungry after that.

    Yes, it is. Here is a video for you to check out. I know this guy is being a bit silly in the beginning of the video. But it's a good one. You also can put some slate or a big rock in the enclosure. This will file down the nails ( this is what I do ).

    hello there,

    my tegu still like to strike, especially when hungry .. i still feel trauma if he close to my feet (n my toe) LOL..
    any suggest ? i handling everyday but not too long , only about 1 hour approx, and he's ramming all over rooms.especially my bedroom

    oh yeah , any suggest how to prekill mouse with no suffer ?

    Trust me. I would be scared, too. If my Tegu would do this I would put on some shoes that would be to hard for him to bite though them. This way if/when he bites down on it he can't bite down hard. Maybe this will make him stop. Here is some info for you to check out. It also has some tips in it on how to kill a rodents.
