Default What's your tegu's (or tegus') name and why?

Just out of curiosity... If you don't have a reason you don't have to type one. I'll start:

My B&W is named Chief. His hilariously spazzy and quirky demeanor that I see now definitely doesn't deserve the name, but when I first had him he was calm and observant, like a Native American chief.

    Curious to hear your replies

Lol that's awesome! I happen to be a Godzilla fan (yes, the goofy b-movies). Let's hope oxygen destroyers haven't been invented yet!

I named mine oreo simply because she is b&w. Its also fun to ask people if they wanna see oreo (thinking its a cute little kitten or something), then you show them a lizard. I cant wait for oreo to get big

Mine is named Loki. Any other I get will be named Thor.

I am an Asatru-Hellenistic-Celtic-Shamanistic-Eclectic Pagan, so they get names after my deities.

That's awesome! I never thought of keeping a name trend with my animals, but it actually sounds pretty cool. Do any of them resemble their deities' personalities? :o

    Yup.

Essentially the Gods the Vikings, Ancient Celts, and Ancient Greeks are mixed together with Wiccanism, and you get what I have.

My Tegu, Loki is very, very smart. The first day I got him he tricked me (successfully) and he is always trying to get out. He is also a Red tegu (Loki is the God of Fire and Trickery).
