    Basking should be between 105-115

    I recommend those temps, too. I also recommend having a bulb that is three in one ( heat, UVA/UVB ). Since Tegus bask allot they will benefit more from the UVA/UVB in that kind of bulb.

    i never knew that they had 3 in 1 lights- pricy but looks like it would be worth it

    They are the Mercury vapor bulbs. I use the Power Suns.

    If you want to you can check out Amazon or ebay. Sometimes you can find a great deal on there. If you buy on ebay make sure the seller sold a few of them. You don't want to take a chance and buy a used one if someone doesn't sell those on regular bases.
