My valentines present....
So my wonderful husband and I picked up my present. A male Red Tegu he is about 8-9 mths old. He does have missing toes which healed up nicely but his color is gorgeous. Paid $150.00 for him and he came with food for a few weeks. Still needs some work as he tail whips when he is first picked up, not really cage aggressive that much.

Re: My valentines present....
I got him from a guy who needed money for an engagement ring. Saw it on facebook local classifieds page in my area and jumped.
Taming is going horribly. Ugh. Now that he's woken up fully from hibernation, he's chasing us out of his cage, jumping at us. He even tried to bite us. He's only been out for like a week max maybe 2. My baby columbian is tamer literally. T shirts getting changed daily. He seems to only do this when my husband is around. When its just me, he's not as bad. Is this normal? Any advice for a new lizard tamer?
Sorry it took so long, I got a new phone and didn't know I could just reload tapatalk. I'm back though.

Re: My valentines present....
Good news though, he loves quail, rabbit, mice, chicken, turkey, no fruits yet but he's only been out completely a week to two weeks tops.
