Thread: planes for new tegu enclosure

    Default planes for new tegu enclosure

    so looks like a friend of mine will be building my tegu a new enclosure. it will be fitting on one entire side of my room
    it will take up the whole wall..

    is 10 ft Long x 3 ft deep x 3 ft high

    good enough?
    cant go too high above it will be some cages for my snakes.

    Seems OK. 10ft is always a good length.

    Awesome!!! I wish I had gone 10 feet long, I have the room but didn't want to do the extra work, which would of been so simple anyway. Also recommend 4' foot. the main reason is that construction inside is so much easier and you can have all of your lights and stuff inside the cage with a nice flat surface on top. Although 4' is really tall. I am 5'8" and have to pull myself on top. I was even thinking of building a small staircase of to the side so that I can get to the 2' in the back.

    Well any height you do choose, be sure to post lots of pictures. Even if you think they suck, post them anyway. I should post more pictures on my build thread.

    yea i will definitely post photos. it will be a few weeks. hopefully it turns out okay. my room isnt that big so i can only go 3 high since the snakes will be on top.. i hope thats good enough to still have lights inside the enclosure..
