To start this thing off, Wicked Innovation has been my #1 go to performance shop! The people there (Matt, Tom, Jay, and Jimmy) are awesome and have helped me a lot thru the years. I recommend them to everyone i meet!
Well, My name is Max and I own this 2009 WRB WRX. I am the original owner of this car and purchased it new in 2009. I purchased this specific car because I was in search of a vehicle that was safe and reliable with my 3 month old newborn son, but yet something that would be a great build in the future. I wanted something new so I had no worries of it breaking down as it would be my only vehicle at that time. The WRX proved itself a reliable source of transportation in any given weather condition, which was exactly what I was looking for.
My WRX quickly became a weekend toy (within 3,000 miles lol) when I purchased my second Subaru, a 2002 impreza ts wagon, as a daily driver. I’ve been modifying my WRX non-stop since then! At this time (3/6/13) she puts down 450whp and 400wtq on a low boost tune with a water/methanol mixture at 22psi. These numbers were pulled out of a mustang dyno as well. She is still running the stock WRX 5 speed transmission with an upgraded clutch and seems to be holding up just fine.
There are LOTS more parts on the "list of wants/needs"! my goals for now are to break into the 10's, and have an output of 550whp using just meth (no water mixture) @ 30-33psi ish.
