Pudgy tegu?

ive never tried like canned fish like sardines or anchovies...what would you say about that?

We've tried giving Mac canned sardines (in spring water, nothing added) but he wouldn't touch them.

He does however love most fish & seafood:
salmon
tilapia
trout
chilean sea bass
uncooked de-shelled shrimp (i think he would eat shell on shrimp no problem, but we buy de-shelled for us so thats what he gets).
octopus (only fed a few times)
king crab (only fed a few times)

The only seafood that we have tried thus far [other than the canned sardines] that he didn't like was tuna --he refuses to touch it, both canned in spring water, and fresh sushi-grade.

We usually buy fish fillets from the grocery store, cut them into big strips about the same size as the whole-prey items he eats, and then freeze. This makes up about 40% of his diet. I've found that cutting them to the right size encourages more eating... sometimes he gets irritated after having to take 20 small individual bites of food.
