i feed mine salmon on occasion, they love fish especially shrimp...aslong as its with enough diet of meat. This is because the omega-3 fatty acids are a blood thinner and if they cut themselves and bleed then it wont clot, but the omega-6 (in red meat) clots blood which causes clogged arteries

oh she has a healthy varid diet and gets red meat on every sitting ....i was more worried that "cheap frozen fish" was mentioned because the salmon i use is frozen and at a decent price. i know salmon is ok for her. i may be overthinking this lol. i just want the best food for my gu u know? i havent fed shrimp yet...any specific kind u feed? de-scaled? de-tailed? warm, cold?

i feed F/T uncooked shrimp with the shell on...i figure it has more realistic characteristics to it..but i cut it in half for my gu and he often wont go for the tail end of it, but my savannah that eats them whole just devours it all so i think teggy will too when he eats them whole

I give our Tegus the entire fish. Sometimes when a fish is a bit to big for them I cut it into pieces.

I don't recommend feeding anything out of a can. It has preservatives in it. I get the fish in the freezer section. Sometimes I get the seafood medley from Sam's Club.
