Your welcome. This is the worst prolapse I have ever seen, too. I never seen one so dirty and dried out. It would be very hard to do a surgery because the Tegu is so unhealthy ( weak/skinny ). Ask you Vet if you can give the Tegu some Pedialyte mixed in with the drinking water. Since the Pedialyte has the electrolytes in it it will help with the hydration better than just regular water. Also ask you Vet if you can give the Tegu some stage one chicken baby food. This will give your Tegu some strength because of the protein. I don't want to tell you what to do. But I recommend putting a old clean T-shirt or some clean old bed sheets on top of the towel. The towel might be a bit rough on the prolapse and can be irritating that area.
