Default Thinking of getting this "Chacoan" yearling

Still seems a little brown to me for a yearling, specially for a chacoan. Maybe ive been out of the Tegu game for too long but eh. Anyone else used to yearling Giants still being that coloration? appreciate it in advance. Guess it seems little for a yearling to. 0o. Last Tegu was an Argentine so i wont mind if she isn't the larger version.

How old is she ? Did she hibernate ? She looks a bit dark for a chacoan. Maybe is is ready to shed soon. Does she have a black V shape under her chin ?

But seems to have the longer nose. Hard to say. Not all chacoans come out super white. And not all chacaons....are chacaons, lol

I see some resemblance but not the best pics. Like previously mentioned the darker tent could be due to the tegu getting ready to shed. Not all chacos advertised as such are, and where it comes from breeder wise and it's parents will help determine that. Most high white extreme or chaco types I've seen came from bobby's stock, that doesn't look like one of them. That one looks more like the wild types being caught in florida that people are calling chacos as well as some I've seen posted and sold as chacos from other breeders.

I don't know how this works with tegus, but alligators who live outside will be darker in coloration.
