This is some four day progress with Camilla my chacoan giant tegu from teguterra I got on Tuesday morning. I feel I'm making some great progress building trust. : )

If you just got her you need to leave her be for at least a week just saying

If they are willing I handle them the next day after I get them. He seems very curious about you and not afraid at all. I would not handle them if I had to spchase them around the cage to catch them.

She welcomes me when I open her cage. I never grab her. She walks out on my hand to come out. I'm not forcing any interaction with her. Thanks.
